The open, flush wheelhouse enables excellent access to the cockpit.

Heat available everywhere, in every compartment but preferably also in the open cockpit or on the aft deck

Even if you are steering inside you have excellent contact with family and/or friends sitting on the bench seats behind you in the open cockpit.

C19496NB (Figures 1 and 2) was a 7.1 m open speedboat built of fibreglass with a small open wheelhouse near the bow.

The vessel's small open wheelhouse, aft port gunwale, lobster trap hauler, and boom were torn off when the overturned vessel was being towed in to Miller Brook Wharf (Figure 3).
