The main aphids that Aphelinus abdominalis (Figure 15) attacks in the greenhouse are potato and foxglove aphids.

Aphidius ervi is a larger species used against potato and foxglove aphids.

The foxglove aphid is green, often quite shiny and with two darker patches on its abdomen at the base of the cornicles (Figure 4).
