Where a Head of Unit is prevented from exercising his functions, they shall be exercised by the Deputy Head of Unit or an official designated by the Director-General.

The applicant shall be informed of the response to his/her application by the Head of Unit concerned.

If the Executive Director is absent or indisposed, the decisions on the deployment of the asylum support teams shall be taken by the head of unit assuming his duties.
