The base component for a TP1 segment is a TP1 choke.
In order to power up a TP1 segment, its TP1 choke needs to be connected to a PSU (Power Supply Unit).
In order to eliminate such disadvantage, the protection inductance is arranged outside the charge circuit and its energy is used for additionally charging the charge capacitors (C8, C9) of an additional rectifier (G2).
For remagnetizing said protection inductance, a free rating diode is used of which the short but high return current increases the losses caused by the switching of the locked state to the passing state.
