EGF COMMANDER means the officer appointed by CIMIN in command of the Permanent HQ and where appropriate EGF Forces;

For the purposes set forth in paragraph 1, EUROGENDFOR shall be represented by the EGF Commander or by any other person expressly designated by the EGF Commander to act on his or her behalf.

The provisions of paragraphs 1, 2 and 3 shall not apply to EGF Forces.

Consequently EUROGENDFOR is able to manage every aspect of the various phases of a crisis:

EUROGENDFOR PERSONNEL means the Permanent Headquarters (HQ) Personnel and the members of the EUROGENDFOR Forces.

The EUROGENDFOR is offered as an operational, pre-organised, robust and rapidly deployable asset, able to perform all police tasks.

This Treaty defines the fundamental principles in respect of the objectives, the status, the modalities of organisation and the operation of the European Gendarmerie Force, hereinafter referred to as EUROGENDFOR or EGF.

From 10 to 21 October 2016, Lieutenant Colonel Armando SISINNI, Legal Advisor of the European Gendarmerie Force (EGF), took part in the role of Police Security Sector Advisor, in the Spearhead 2017 Exercise held in Strasbourg (France).
