From ages of 2-7, children are in the Pre-Operational Stage.

The pre-operational stage starts the age of 2 and continues to the age of 7 years.

In the sensorimotor stage (0 to 2 years of age) and the pre-operational stage (3 to 6 years), children construct the vision of their own space.

The Preoperational child is also unaware of another person's perspective.

Each of these limitations of the pre-logical stage will be overcome at about 6 or 7 years-old, in the next cognitive developmental stage, and will consolidate until about 14 or 15 years-old.
