A single conduit lift pump is disclosed that only requires a single fluid conduit for both the driving fluid and the pumping action of the pump in a well bore.
A lift pump is designed so that the movement of the elongate lifting member (1) up and down in a wellbore causes a compression of an air mass in a tank (3, 9).
The configuration operates in the same way as a water lifting pump not requiring other power and can pump water to the water reservoirs.
