Food hygiene: food businesses, from farms to restaurants, must comply with EU food law, including those importing food to the EU.

General food law: Regulation (EC) 178/2002 on the general principles and requirements of EU food law;

All food businesses must comply with food safety law.

All food health establishments are required to comply with key Food Safety Legislation.

Probiotics used as food supplements, as well as functional foods, are considered as food and are governed by the relevant legislation.

Edible gelatine must also meet these requirements and is additionally subject to food law.

For example, on a legal level (food law, environmental law, pharmaceutical legislation) or with incentives
