The Syariah Court is the only institution that can issue an Inheritance Certificate.

These are issued if the deceased was or one of his heirs is domiciled in Monaco.

The European Inheritance Regulation is applicable on the inheritance and the settling of the entire estate of EU citizens who died after 17 August 2015.
