directing the company to use it to pay your premiums;

policy loan means an amount advanced at a particular time by an insurer to a policyholder in accordance with the terms and conditions of a life insurance policy in Canada; (avance sur police)

foreign policy loan means an amount advanced by an insurer to a policyholder in accordance with the terms and conditions of a life insurance policy, other than a life insurance policy in Canada. (avance sur police étrangère)

foreign policy loan means an amount advanced by an insurer to a policyholder in accordance with the terms and conditions of a life insurance policy, other than a life insurance policy in Canada. (avance sur police étrangère)

1.84 A policy loan refers to an amount advanced by an insurer to a policyholder in accordance with the terms and conditions of a life insurance policy in Canada.

policy loan has the meaning assigned by subsection 138(12); (avance sur police)

is the amount payable on March 31, 1978 in respect of a policy loan in respect of the policy,

interest, in relation to a policy loan, has the meaning assigned by subsection 138(12); (intérêt)

policy loan has the meaning assigned by subsection 138(12) of the Act. (avance sur police)

policy loan has the same meaning as in subsection 148(9) of the Act. (avance sur police)

interest, in relation to a policy loan, has the meaning assigned by subsection 138(12); (intérêt)

(b) the amount of a policy loan made by the insurer in the month under a life insurance policy in Canada, or

B is the total of all amounts each of which is an amount payable at that time in respect of a policy loan in respect of the policy, and

(e.1) where the property was a policy loan (within the meaning assigned by subsection 138(12)) of an insurer, nil,
