A motor aphasia can be easily confused with a confusional state

Treatment with TMS is more efficient, based on published scientific literature, in patients with motor aphasia (not fluent) or in global forms of aphasia with motor predominance.

A sign of this is that those with transcortical motor aphasia have great difficulty selecting words, but do not have a problem with understanding.
